ALERGIC
REACTION:
THINGS TO DO.
When we find a person who
has sufferred a generalized reaction to a wasp or bee sting,
the wisest thing to do is to accompany him/her to an accident and
emergency department. First, it is
important to leave behind the risky situation to which that person is
submitted, we have to
avoid possible risks as stopping the car when running, coming down from the
high places in order to prevent falls, because one can suffer dizziness or
convulsions. If a bee
stings it is necessary to carefully separate the sting left anchored in
the skin, this way avoiding further venom inyection.

If a person is
already allergic and this is not the first episode of sufferring bites by these
insects, he/ she will always carry with him/her an adrenalin
dispenser syringe, administering the dose following the instructions.
After receiving the adrenaline is advisable to go to the nearest
medical centre in order to avoid possible reactions; there the situation
will be evaluated
applying the necessary measures for his/her recovery.

Avoinding
risky situations is essentiall for the ones allergic to the
wasps.
When a person is detected to be allergic
to bee and wasp stings there exists the possibility of the vaccination;
the allergist usually informs of the advisibility of this vaccine and of
its advantages and
disadvantages. This is a curative treatment for a rather long time, it
can last several
years, and it is about injecting a medicine made with bee or wasp venom
according to what the person is allergic to; the achieved result is that
his/her own body develops tolerance. It begins with very
small quantities, increasing them in time; five years later and passing
some response indicators tests, consisting of stings controlled by the
allergist; finally, the person manages to develop tolerance and in this way
is able to anticipate possible health problems, caused by these insects.

For the
allergic ones there exists the possibility of vaccination against bees or wasp
stings .
