HOW TO ELIMINATE THE WHITE FLIES.

    The most important thing when exterminating the vegetals affected by the white fly is eliminating the affected leaves, not leaving the plant without treatment when the larval cycle finalizes and avoiding plants coming from affected seedbed.

It is better to eliminate the damaged leaves

There are three forms to exterminate this insect: chemical, biological and electrical productos.

        The chemical products  are the aggressive and invading ones, because they spread all over the plant without focusing their action on the needy parts. They also easily create resistance to eggs and nymphs. Due to this characteristic it is preferable applying the product on the wet plant and alternating them with different ranges of other productos. If the treatment is done during the first hours or the last hours of the day the result will be better. Therefore we cannot forget that they are more harmful and contaminate the environment.

The white flies females lay their eggs in circles.

   The important thing to save the plant is killing the fly during the adult cycle, for it we can use the electronic device that keep away the flying insects and the electronic exterminators for your house, that are easy to place in your house and garden. Another form is using the electrical devices with yellow sticky traps; the insect has a natural attraction towards the yellow color, where it gets stuck.

The white flies produce some wounds, which are used by fungi and virus to get into the plant.

    in order to control the plague it is better to use biological means like a natural enemy. In spite of its simplicity, making it work asks for qualified people. Microorganisms like virus and other plagues can be used, as well as vertebrates as the green bug (Macrolophus Caliginosus) eat the white fly eggs and larvae. They can all be found  throughout the Mediterranean zone. The small wasp (Eretrocerun mundu) females also eat the larvae and lay their eggs next to those of the white fly. This way when the larvae emerge from the eggs they enter the eggs devouring them little by little from the inside. They are animals that take advantage from the life and survival instincts of the species that are natural enemies; this way people can control the source without altering the way of doing it. All that is more feasible when the plague happens in the agricultural area, for it is very difficult to carry it out inside the home.

The green bug eliminates the white flies, which is used as a biological method of elimination.

  Combining two or more methods of elimination would be the best to erradicate the invasion.
