PLANTS THAT KEEP AWAY THE INSECTS.
From ancient times plants are used to repel insects.
To keep away the plant lice we
should place next to the inffected plants some Honeysuckle, Garden Lupin,
Common Foxglove or Nettle which are repellent. If what bothers us are
the white flies we should use some aromatic herbs such as Chinese Carnations,
Ornamental Tobacco or Marigolds. We can also use these plants if the
problem is the nematodes - some microscopic roundworms that nest in the roots.
The Chinese Carnations can be placed in flowerpots amongst the plants in the garden. A very efficient way of eliminating the bothering presence of the mosquitoes during the summer nights inside the house is planting Basil, Monks Cress and sweetly scented Jasmines in flowerpots, placing them at windows and in balconies; another good method for the outside could be the lemon candles.
With the help of the mosquitoes killer and nature people will manage to eliminate these flying insects.
There are some plants and aromatic herbs
to protect against insects, such as Lavender, Rosemary, Common Sage, which
act as protectors
against the plagues. With the same purpose, one can also place amongst the
cultivations some Mint, Basil, Tarragon and Thyme. Other tricks used in the
organic agriculture is to mix some cultuvations, such as onions with carrots
to avoid the presence of
the flies, which attack them. We can also use homemade remedies such
as placing one or two garlic pieces that act like repellent to certain
plagues attacking the plant leaves.
The organic agriculture do not use chemical products to kill the insects, because they may affect the nature. click below.
