Econex forest insect attractant for detection and monitoring
The diffuser is in the form of a blister with at least one layer of polyolefin permeable to the active principle, and is packaged in an aluminum envelope with a specification label.
In the field it has a minimum duration of 60 days. Once removed from the container, the diffuser does not need any activation operation, nor does it have to be opened, it just needs to be properly placed in the trap.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
Remove the product from the container with protective gloves. Place the diffuser directly in the side holes made for this purpose in one of the sheets of a CROSSTRAP® trap. Its capture efficiency can be significantly increased when used in conjunction with other kairomonas such as Econex alfa pineno 25 ml.
FOR USE IN POPULATION DETECTION AND MONITORING
Place 1 to 3 traps per ha. Baited traps must be present in the bush at least 15 days before the start of the flight period of the target species. For this, the use of the CROSSTRAP® trap is recommended.
EXHAUSTIVE MONITORING
To carry out exhaustive monitoring, the number of traps placed must be increased, taking into account the topography, forest species, road network, etc. Generally speaking, we recommend a density of 5 to 10 traps per ha. The use of the CROSSTRAP® trap is recommended.
STORAGE OF DIFFUSERS
The product should not be stored for a long time. It must be kept in its original container and in a refrigerator at 4º C; or in the freezer at -18º C, in which case it will remain valid for 2 and 4 years respectively.
